Grace Cov Church has a heart for our community and as such have launched PRO BONO COMMUNITY SERVICES. We have a panel of professionals who give their time free of charge on the first Saturday of every month.
Currently we have a legal team but will soon be expanding into other areas.
Please note that all our consultants are experts in their field and as such are governed by the rules and regulations of South Africa.

Meet our experts
Wawa Jafta is an admitted attorney of the High Court of South Africa since 1999. He holds a BJuris degree, LLB degree and a Certificate in Prospecting & Mining Law. He is an attorney in good standing with the Legal Practice Council and is currently practicing as a partner at Ngeno & Mteto Incorporated, a law firm based in Brooklyn, Pretoria.
With the 19 years’ experience in the legal field, Wawa has worked for a range of organizations and companies as an in-house lawyer. These include Lawyers for Human Rights, United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, the Road Accident Fund and Eskom Holdings SOC LTD. This is in addition to his experience as an attorney in private practice over the years.
Wawa’s specialty areas are mediation, contract negotiation and drafting, commercial and corporate law advice, refugee and immigration law and general legal advice.
A husband and a father of four, Wawa has together with his wife, Zandile, decided to offer a free full-service boutique legal services by providing a range of personalized legal and consulting services to both the church family and to the community at large. Whatever the individuals’ particular cases may entail, people can be confident that this team possesses the depth and breadth of knowledge and hands-on experience needed to resolve cases.

Zandile Jafta is an admitted attorney of the High Court of South Africa since 2003. She holds a B Proc degree from University of Transkei. She is an attorney in good standing with the Legal Practice Council. Currently she is linked to two law firms as a specialist consultant, Renqe FY Inc in Faerie Glen and Maome Inc in Pretoria Central. Zandile has recently started her own consultancy operating from home in Centurion.
Over the years she has worked as a lawyer for various institutions including the Department of Home Affairs, Lawyers for Human Rights, UNHCR, the Road Accident Fund and the Department of Trade and Industry. She specializes in Immigration law, refugee law, constitutional and administrative law, labour law, personal injury law, consumer law, contract vetting and drafting.
Zandile is a highly focused, confident, dedicated and committed lawyer with a passion for the truth. With this pro bono venture she seeks to uphold and utilize the full strength of the law to help those in need find trust and comfort in the judicial system.
With 15 years’ experience in the legal field Zandile understands the intricacies of the law. She enjoys couching people to take decisive action to protect their interests, and obtain positive outcomes. She works with people to reduce their emotional drain and help them come through difficult legal problems with accustomed ease.
With this venture with Wawa, Zandile is looking forward to help people for free with all kinds of civil disputes, contractual issues, business disputes, select criminal cases and all other types of cases.

Mike currently holds the rank of Lieutenant Colonel at the Head Office in Division Supply Chain Management at Pretoria SAPS.
Mike joined the SAPS on the 14th January 1993 as a police officer. During his career he was seconded to the Community Service Centre, detectives branch, supply chain management department, from 2009 to 2014 Mike worked with the Hawks.
Since 2015 Mike currently manages and reconciles the expenditure and assets purchased in each financial year.
Mike has been married to his wife, Lily for 26 years and has two daughters in their early twenties. Together with his wife Mike oversees the children's ministry at Grace Cov Church.
