Good morning.
Reading through the Scriptures reveals, among other things, that life is not a bed of roses. Time and time again we read that we are not to be afraid or fear not.
The often quoted verse from Joshua is well known. "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” (Joshua 1:9)
So take heart.
Jesus reinforces this when He says, "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid." (John 14:27)
In the verse immediately preceding this Jesus talks of Holy Spirit, who is our advocate, our comforter and our teacher.
Take heart and be encouraged by the what Daniel says. "Do not be afraid, you who are highly esteemed,” he said. “Peace! Be strong now; be strong.” When he spoke to me, I was strengthened and said, “Speak, my Lord, since you have given me strength.”
(Daniel 10:19)
God is with us in all that we go through. Lean on Him. He loves you.
Blessings.
