Good morning.
We get frustrated because somebody is not doing what we want. We get discouraged because of a disappointment.
Psalm 46:10 says, “Be still, and know that I am God ..."
This implies that when we’re upset, frustrated, and worried, we’re not going to know that He is God. Most of the time when we’re frustrated, we’re trying to change things that only God can change. We’re trying to be God and fix things over which we have no control. If we are trying to control everything, we're going to get frustrated.
We need to stop trying to change what only God can change and we need to stop trying to fix things over which we have no control. When we turn it over to God, and let Him take care of it, we will experience His peace, with the assurance that He is in control.
"You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you." (Isaiah 26:3)
Have a peace filled day as you trust God.
Blessings.
Mike and Daphne
