Good morning.
How do you respond when God calls you to do something for Him and His Kingdom?
Most of us respond like Moses or Gideon or Jeremiah
"But Moses said to God, “Who am I that I should go to Pharaoh and bring the Israelites out of Egypt?” (Exodus 3:11)
“Pardon me, my Lord,” Gideon replied, “but how can I save Israel? My clan is the weakest in Manasseh, and I am the least in my family.” (Judges 6:15)
“Alas, Sovereign Lord ,” I said, “I do not know how to speak; I am too young.” (Jeremiah 1:6)
God's reply to each was the same.
"And God said, “I will be with you.” (Exodus 3:12)
The Lord answered, “I will be with you ..." (Judges 6:16)
"Do not be afraid of them, for I am with you." (Jeremiah 1:8)
When God calls you to do something for Him, He will be with you. One thing we have learned over the years is that He is with us as His purposes are/will be achieved.
While we are still at the beginning of the year make time to spend in God's presence and consciously pay attention to what He is calling us to this year.
Blessings.
