Have you ever been in a situation where you really needed supernatural intervention?
No doubt that is exactly how all of king Nebuchadnezzar's magicians, enchanters, sorcerers and astrologers felt when the king demanded that they tell him what he had dreamed and interpret it for him.
“There is no one on earth who can do what the king asks! What the king asks is too difficult" they declared. This made the king so angry and furious that he ordered the execution of all the wise men of Babylon, including Daniel and his friends.
At this, Daniel went in to the king and asked for time, so that he might interpret the dream for him. He urged his friends to plead for mercy from the God of heaven concerning this mystery. During the night the mystery was revealed to Daniel in a vision. Then Daniel praised the God of heaven
Daniel was presented to the king for a second time. The king asked Daniel, “Are you able to tell me what I saw in my dream and interpret it?”
Daniel's response in the situation where he and his friends faced detain death is mind blowing. "Daniel replied, 'No wise man, enchanter, magician or diviner can explain to the king the mystery he has asked about, but there is a God in heaven who reveals mysteries.'" (Daniel 2:27-28)
No matter what you may be facing today, remember "there is a God in heaven" who is with you and who has the answer in every situation.
