Father's Day Potjiekos Cook-off
Come celebrate Father's Day with a potjiekos competition after church! Let’s cook and spend time together. This event is open to all so please remember to invite your friends.

About the Event
Come and join us for a church day with a difference! A potjiekos competition will be held after church (gates open at 7am for cooks to start preparing their potjies). Church is at 08:00 or 09:30... remember to invite your PLUS ONES!
We have some surprise judges and prizes to give away for the best potjiekos! This event is free but you do need to register your group. If you are wanting to cook on the day but don't have a group, you can either indicate on registration that you want to join a group and we'll assign you to one or you are welcome to come along and extra potjie pots and ingredients will be available for you.
Lunch is open to all whether you have joined a potjie team or not, please bring your own picnic balankets, snacks, plates and cutlery and enjoy the day with us.
Schedule:
7:00am Open gates for Life Groups to setup and start their pots.
7:45am Hospitality and decor team will setup.
8:00am Church
9:00am Coffee & Rusks
9:30am Church
11:00am Baptisms
11:30am Games for the kids.
12:00pm Judging of pots with announcing the winners.
12:30pm Lunch is served
Cook-off rules and regulations:
1. Cooks to arrive 7am to prep and set up your own fires.
2. Potjie to be ready to serve at 12:00am.
3. Teams to bring own pots (let us know if you don't have one & we can supply), gazebos, umbrellas and equipment needed.
4. Own ingredients are to be provided unless indicated on the registration form.
5. This is a child friendly premises, no alcohol or smoking on the property. Thanks for understanding.
6. Everyone to bring own cooldrinks, snacks, chairs & shade.

Tickets
Team Ticket
This ticket is for a Lifegroup or team to enter. Only 1 ticket is needed per team. A Lifegroup is a small community group part of Grace Cov Church. More info on Lifegroups can be found on our website. If you are not part of a Lifegroup please speak to a Lifegroup Leader to join or register using the Individual Ticket and we'll assign you to a group for the day.
