Good morning once again.
There have been times God's presence has been almost tangible during our corporate times of worship. Can you imagine what it must have been like for the Israelites who could observe God's presence.
"And whenever Moses went out to the tent, all the people rose and stood at the entrances to their tents, watching Moses until he entered the tent. As Moses went into the tent, the pillar of cloud would come down and stay at the entrance, while the Lord spoke with Moses. Whenever the people saw the pillar of cloud standing at the entrance to the tent, they all stood and worshiped ..." (Exodus 33:8-10)
Moses, through relationship with God, discovered that God's presence made all the difference.
"If you are pleased with me, teach me your ways so I may know you and continue to find favour with you...” "The Lord replied, “My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.” Then Moses said to him, “If your Presence does not go with us, do not send us up from here." (Exodus 33:13-15)
Nothing has changed. God's presence is essential for us to worship in spirit and truth.
Our prayer for today is that we will experience God's presence with us as we go about our lives as an act of worship.
Blessings.
