Good morning.
In 1 Kings 6, 7 and 8 we read of the building of the temple for the Lord. It would be where the people would come to worship God, the Lord of Hosts.
We are told, "The priests then brought the ark of the Lord ’s covenant to its place in the inner sanctuary of the temple, the Most Holy Place, and put it beneath the wings of the cherubim." "When the priests withdrew from the Holy Place, the cloud filled the temple of the Lord . And the priests could not perform their service because of the cloud, for the glory of the Lord filled his temple." (1 Kings 8:6,10-11)
This is an amazing picture of what takes place when God is central to our worship. His presence can be so evident that we experience the glory of the Lord.
When we join together to worship Him, may we have the conscious desire to experience the glory of the Lord.
Blessings.
