Good morning.
We all face times when we don't seem to see light at the end of the tunnel. Life seems to be throwing all sorts of "stuff" at us.
Perhaps this is how David felt when he wrote Psalm 23.
"The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he refreshes my soul. He guides me along the right paths for his name’s sake. Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me." (Psalms 23:1-4 NIV)
Matt Redman sings,
"Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death
Your perfect love is casting out fear
And even when I'm caught in the middle of the storms of this life
I won't turn back
I know You are near"
"And I will fear no evil
For my God is with me
And if my God is with me
Whom then shall I fear?
Whom then shall I fear?"
"Oh no, You never let go
Through the calm and through the storm
Oh no, You never let go
In every high and every low
Oh no, You never let go
Lord, You never let go of me"
No matter what we may be facing today, we can find comfort in the fact that God is with us and will not let go of us.
With this assurance, have a good day.
Blessings.
