Good morning.
With Christ appearing to the disciples after His resurrection, their lives were irrevocably changed.
" Again Jesus said, “Peace be with you! As the Father has sent me, I am sending you.” And with that he breathed on them and said, “Receive the Holy Spirit." (John 20:21-22 NIV)
At that moment they moved from the mundane to mission. They were about to embark on a roller-coaster ride filled with emotional highs of excitement of seeing thousands get saved, to the lows of being imprisoned.
Notwithstanding this, their faith in Jesus Christ and His compelling love carried them into fulfilling the "Great Commission".
"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
(Matthew 28:19-20 NIV)
When we allow Holy Spirit to take control, He empowers us to fulfill the same great commission, today. Will you allow Him to breathe afresh on you today.
Have a relaxing Family Day.
Blessings.
Mike and Daphne
