Good morning on this fine Saturday morning.

Sitting listening to the sound of the water trickling down our water feature, it is easy to be lulled into laziness which often leads to complacency.

Jesus said to His followers that when the Hoiy Spirit comes on them they would be empowered to be His witnesses (Acts 1:8). I am challenged afresh thinking about this. We have a responsibility to share the good news about Jesus Christ; that He saves those who call on His name.

'How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard?

(Romans 10:14)

How will we respond to this? Will we respond like Isaiah?

"Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?” And I said, “Here am I. Send me!” (Isaiah 6:8)

As we enjoy a relaxing day today, let us not forget God's call on each one of us to be His witnesses.

Blessings.
