Good day to you.

When reading Paul's letters, one can be be lulled into seeing what is written and missing the corollary. Paul has a knack of talking of one thing to apply, which requires a secondary, yet equally significant action.

In his discourse on love in 1 Corinthians he tells us that love keeps no record of wrongs. (1 Corinthians 13:5) For this to be true in our life, we need to live ready to forgive, forgive and forgive again.

In the same verse when Paul says love is not self-seeking, the implication is that the view of "What's in it for Me?" no longer should enter our minds.

Today let us endeavour to put 1 Corinthians 14:1 into practice. "Follow the way of love and eagerly desire gifts of the Spirit" We will do this by keeping in step with the Spirit.

Have a good day.

Blessings.

Mike and Daphne
