Good morning to you on this fine Saturday.
Having spoken with some folk over the past few days, it is apparent that some people are facing a few challenges.
Without minimizing what folk are going through, our relationship with God will help us shift our focus from our circumstances onto Him.
We are reminded of what the prophet Habakkuk had to say. "Though the fig tree does not bud and there are no grapes on the vines, though the olive crop fails and the fields produce no food, though there are no sheep in the pen and no cattle in the stalls, yet I will rejoice in the Lord , I will be joyful in God my Savior."
(Habakkuk 3:17-18)
The psalmist reminds us, "But you, Lord , are a shield around me, my glory, the One who lifts my head high." (Psalms 3:3)
Today, let's remind ourselves who God is. Words from the song "Way Maker " say it all.
"Way maker, Miracle worker, promise keeper
Light in the darkness, my God,
That is who you are."
Blessings.
