Good morning.
How good it was to worship God together yesterday. We were stirred by hearing the Word being brought to us by Colette Meyer. It was also good to witness folk exercising their Spiritual gift by encouraging the body of Christ, both onsite and online.
Can these bones live?
"Then he said to me, “Prophesy to the breath; prophesy, son of man, and say to it, ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: Come, breath, from the four winds and breathe into these slain, that they may live.’ ” So I prophesied as he commanded me, and breath entered them; they came to life and stood up on their feet—a vast army." (Ezekiel 37:9-10)
Ezekiel was obedient to God's instruction.
Perhaps you are feeling like the people of Israel at the time of Ezekiel, hopeless. "They say, ‘Our bones are dried up and our hope is gone; we are cut off.’"
(Ezekiel 37:11)
Do not despair. God's word for you is "I will put my Spirit in you and you will live, and I will settle you in your own land. Then you will know that I the Lord have spoken, and I have done it, declares the Lord .’ ”
(Ezekiel 37:14)
‘Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.’ (Jeremiah 33:3)
Have a good week.
Blessings.
Mike and Daphne
