Good morning to you.
For those who have faced some battles in the past months, well done for persevering. The pandemic has affected most of us in one way or another.
Whether times have been challenging or plain sailing Paul says this to us: "being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus."
(Philippians 1:6)
Peter reminds us that "His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness.
(2 Peter 1:3)
Notwithstanding this he tells us that we still have work to do in living a godly life.
"For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge; and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness; and to godliness, mutual affection; and to mutual affection, love. For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ."
(2 Peter 1:5-8)
Will you join us in pushing through to receive the crown which awaits each on of us. "Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him." (James 1:12)
Have a good day.
Blessings.
Mike and Daphne
