Good morning.

As children we were taught God's telephone number: Jeremiah 33:3 ‘Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.’

With all the violence, looting and rioting taking place in our country, we, as followers of Christ, need to call out to God on behalf of our country.

I, Mike, am reminded of the account when Judah was attacked by the Cushites, Asa the king of Judah, lead out the army of Judah. But first - Asa called to the Lord his God and said, “ Lord , there is no one like you to help the powerless against the mighty. Help us, Lord our God, for we rely on you, and in your name we have come against this vast army. Lord , you are our God; do not let mere mortals prevail against you.” (2 Chronicles 14:11)

Let us follow suit as the forces of evil within our country are rising up. Let us declare that their is no one like God who can help us. Now is the time for us to band together to call on God.

As individuals it is so important to put Paul's words into practice. "Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit."

(Galatians 5:25)

Take heart today. He reigns on high. He is the Lord.

Blessings.

Mike and Daphne

Good morning. David writing in Psalm 43:5 asks, "Why, my soul, are you downcast? Why so disturbed within me?" He then gives us good advice, "Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise him, my Savior
