Good morning.

The pandemic has over the past months has had really sad effects on many people. It has gone, in many instances, beyond just health issues.

A lot of people have lost hope. Hope canbe lost if your hope is in a desired outcome or result.

Paul sets the example for followers of Christ. This is what he said. "Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal."

(2 Corinthians 4:16‭-‬18)

True hope is greater than even your worst circumstance because Hope is a Person. Our God, who is Hope, is greater than any event. He can never be taken away.

"We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure." (Hebrews 6:19)

The Psalmist has this encouragement as we head into the new week. "Be strong and take heart, all you who hope in the Lord."

(Psalm 31:24)

Blessings.
