Good morning. We trust you are well.
"Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint."
(Isaiah 40:31)
Waiting in hope during hard circumstances is very difficult. Waiting in our suffering requires patience and endurance. Both are difficult to develop. However, as we exercise our patience and endurance, the gap between our impatience and wanting to give up grows shorter and shorter. This requires allowing God space to move in our situation. And He will move, in His timing and for our good, if we continue to wait for Him.
No matter what season we find ourselves in, our hope in Him is secure.
Habakkuk, the prophet, puts it like this:
"Though the fig tree does not bud and there are no grapes on the vines, though the olive crop fails and the fields produce no food, though there are no sheep in the pen and no cattle in the stalls, yet I will rejoice in the Lord , I will be joyful in God my Savior. The Sovereign Lord is my strength; he makes my feet like the feet of a deer, he enables me to tread on the heights." (Habakkuk 3:17-19)
Have a great day.
Blessings.
