Good morning.
What a good message we were given by Colette Meyer yesterday.
"Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything." (James 1:4)
and
"Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him."
(James 1:12)
From these verses in James we are reminded that:
• Hardship is seasonal - James 1:12
• God is faithful - James 1:3-4
• God has a purpose for each 1 of us.
We draw encouragement from this to face our present circumstances while knowing we have a promise of a future crown.
