Good morning.

Over the past 18 months we have had to deal with abnormal circumstances brought about by the pandemic and the lockdown regulations. During this time we have had to make adjustments to so many facets of our lives.

There have been times when we have wondered how we were going to get through everything life was throwing at us.

Peter tells us that actually God has it all under control. We have everything we need to remain focused on His purpose for us.

"His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness. For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge; and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness; and to godliness, mutual affection; and to mutual affection, love. For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ."

(2 Peter 1:3‭, ‬5‭-‬8)

God gives us his marvelous grace as a free gift in Christ. Then, as Peter says, we build on this grace by adding virtue to virtue.
