Good morning.
In his message this past Sunday, Craig began by asking 2 questions.
• What does Jesus want to do in us?
• And then?
Reflecting on this causes us think about everything that He has done for us. The words of the hymn by Isaac Watts says it all.
"When I survey the wondrous cross
On which the Prince of Glory died
My richest gain I count but loss
And pour contempt on all my pride"
"Forbid it, Lord, that I should boast,
Save in the death of Christ my God!
All the vain things that charm me most,
I sacrifice them to His blood."
"See from His head His hands His feet
Sorrow and love flow mingled down
Did e'er such love and sorrow meet
Or thorns compose so rich a crown"
"Were the whole realm of nature mine
That were and offering far too small
Love so amazing so divine
Demands my soul my life my all"
It is all about Him! He has done it all for us. The "And then?" is in His hands. "Love so amazing so divine, demands my soul my life my all."
As we yield to and apply His Word in our lives, more and more His light shines through us, impacting those around us - at work, at home and our friendships.
Enjoy your "And then" moments today.
Blessings.
