Good morning.

Have you ever “groaned” in prayer? Most of us know the feeling. We may not feel full of faith when we cry out to God. We may be going through a difficult struggle and not feeling very spiritual. Our prayers may be a series of short phrases such as, “Help me, God!” or “Lord, I don’t know how much longer I can hang in there.”

David, the psalmist, knew that God hears prayers when he said: “O Lord my God, I cried to you for help” (Ps. 30:2).

It is comforting to know that when we feel frustrated in prayer or don’t know what to say, Holy Spirit, who lives in us, is praying for us. Romans 8:26 says: "In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans."

Have a good day knowing that as followers of Christ we have Holy Spirit with us at all times and who is praying for us.

Blessings.

Mike and Daphne
