Good morning.

God has been moulding and shaping each of us for ministry since we were born. "Your hands shaped me and made me."

(Job 10:8)

In fact, God started uniquely shaping us even before we were born. "I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made... My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be." (Psalms 139:14‭-‬16)

So, when looking at our spiritual gifts, there are 3 important truths to remember.

• You were shaped for a purpose

• You are unique

• You are wonderfully complex

Ministry is determined by several factors. "There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit distributes them. There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord. There are different kinds of working, but in all of them and in everyone it is the same God at work. Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good." (1 Corinthians 12:4‭-‬7)

Our gifts are frequently be seen in our personalities. As Terran Williams observes, our talents and personality traits tend to correlate. He also points out that we are each a unique combination of talents and traits. In other words our gifts and personalities are complementary.

Let your spiritual gifts shine through your personality.

Good morning. David writing in Psalm 43:5 asks, "Why, my soul, are you downcast? Why so disturbed within me?" He then gives us good advice, "Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise him, my Savior
