Good morning.

As we draw to the end of the "Gifted" series it is good to remind ourselves that "We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance with your faith; if it is serving, then serve; if it is teaching, then teach; if it is to encourage, then give encouragement; if it is giving, then give generously; if it is to lead, do it diligently; if it is to show mercy, do it cheerfully." (Romans 12:6‭-‬8)

Last night in our Life Group we discussed the gift of leading diligently. A good leader will

• Seek out wise counsel - "if you want to lead, you must be willing to follow."

• Be a team player

• Be willing to be under authority

A good leader will, to a greater or lesser degree, exhibit all of the gifts of the Spirit Paul writes about in his letter to the church in Rome. He will have prophetic insight, be an encourager, display servant-leadership, teach by setting an example to His followers, give generously of his time, talent and treasure and will dispense mercy.

Let us do our best to emulate the greatest leader to have walked on the earth, Jesus Christ.

Have a good day.

Blessings.

Mike and Daphne
