Good morning.

Reading about Abraham one cannot but be amazed at his faith in God. Faith to him was obedience to God's commands without knowing what the outcome would be.

Take for example the account recorded in Genesis 22:2-3. "Then God said, “Take your son, your only son, whom you love—Isaac—and go to the region of Moriah. Sacrifice him there as a burnt offering on a mountain I will show you.” Early the next morning Abraham got up and loaded his donkey. He took with him two of his servants and his son Isaac. When he had cut enough wood for the burnt offering, he set out for the place God had told him about."

Looking at Abraham's faith we see that faith

• doesn't allow us to settle down

• results in perseverance

• does not fear what man thinks

• does unconventional things in obedience

• brings us into the exploits of God

The question begs asking - how's your faith in God? We can answer this question intellectually or we can answer out of having experienced God's faithfulness.

Our prayer is that each one will have an unshakeable faith in God based on the fact that God is who He said He is and will do what He said He will do.

Have a good day.

Blessings.

Mike and Daphne
