Good morning.
Sunday is upon us. While it is not the only day to worship God, it presents us with an opportunity to do so with other followers of Christ.
Paul has this to say about our corporate times together. "What then shall we say, brothers and sisters? When you come together, each of you has a hymn, or a word of instruction, a revelation, a tongue or an interpretation. Everything must be done so that the church may be built up."
(1 Corinthians 14:26)
What makes our times together special is that it is all about God. He is amazing. He is awesome. When we are together itseems easier to do what Paul says, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God." (Philippians 4:6)
Somehow we are emboldened to bring our requests to Him. And the size of our requests increases. It is therefore not surprising that we can come before God and put onto practice the words of Psalm 2:8, "Ask me, and I will make the nations your inheritance, the ends of the earth your possession."
Have a wonderful time in the presence of our Almighty God as we worship Him together.
Blessings.
Mike and Daphne
