Good morning.
An amazing repositioning took place when we became followers of Christ; children of God.
It will do us good to ponder about what took place at our conversion. According to Paul, a number of things happens to each person who receives Christ as Saviour and Lord.
We are:
• included in Christ
• marked with a seal, the Holy Spirit
• guaranteed an inheritance
"And you also were included in Christ when you heard the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation. When you believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God’s possession—to the praise of his glory." (Ephesians 1:13-14)
And if that is not enough, we are seated with Him in the heavenlies.
"And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus" (Ephesians 2:6)
With this in mind, let us press pause in our daily activities and thank our King for His unending goodness, mercy and grace.
