Good morning.
Reading the account of the Greeks who were looking for Jesus 5 days before His crucifixion it is interesting to follow what took place.
"Now there were some Greeks among those who went up to worship at the festival. They came to Philip, who was from Bethsaida in Galilee, with a request. “Sir,” they said, “we would like to see Jesus.” Philip went to tell Andrew; Andrew and Philip in turn told Jesus." (John 12:20-22)
It got me (Mike) thinking.
• Does my life reveal that I am friends with Jesus?
• Would I tell my friends that someone wants to meet Jesus?
• Would I invite them to my Life Group? After all, we talk about Jesus there.
• Would I invite them to my church on Sunday? We meet with Jesus there.
• Would I acceed to their request and lead them to Jesus?
To be to lead someone to Jesus, I must, firstly, have a personal relationship with Him. Secondly, I need to have a clear understanding of what Jesus has done for me and thirdly, explain that Jesus has done the same for them. Fourthly, lead them in a prayer of repentance, acceptance and thanksgiving?
What would you do if someone came to you today and asked to meet Jesus?
Blessings.
Mike and Daphne
