Good morning.
When facing potentially difficult situations we so often devise our own plans/solutions to the problems.
I, Mike, am reminded of what all Abraham (and Sarah) faced and went through. My friend, Paul, reminds us of how Abraham dealt with the challenges he faced.
"Yet he did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God, being fully persuaded that God had power to do what he had promised."
(Romans 4:20-21)
We can take solace from the words of one of Don Moen's songs: "He Never Sleeps".
"Do you feel that the Lord has forgotten your need?
Just remember that God is always
Working in ways you cannot see (that's right)
Our God is able
He is Mighty
He is faithful
And He never sleeps
He never slumbers
He never tires of hearing our prayer
When we are weak, He becomes stronger
So rest in His love and cast all of your cares on Him"
Always remember, no matter what we are facing, God has the power to do what he has promised.
