Good morning.
As I, Mike, lay in bed last night, the words of Matt Redman's song kept playing over and over in my mind.
"When the music fades
All is stripped away,
and I simply come
Longing just to bring..."
"I'll bring You more than a song, for a song in itself
Is not what You have required"
It is easy to sing songs. But when we stop and consider the words we are singing, we find the depth of their meaning. We find ourselves acknowledging the presence of God and who He is.
"Lord , you are my God; I will exalt you and praise your name, for in perfect faithfulness you have done wonderful things, things planned long ago." (Isaiah 25:1)
Matt Redman continues,
"King of endless worth
No one could express how much You deserve
Though I'm weak and poor
All I have is Yours, ev'ry single breath"
(The Heart of Worship)
As we meet to pray together this evening, take time to acknowledge His majesty and extol Him.
Have a good day.
Blessings.
Mike and Daphne
