Good morning.

So where do we place our confidence?

Yesterday the wearing of masks was mandatory. Today we don't have to wear masks. Yesterday we had to limit seating in our meetings. Today we can fill our buildings to capacity.

As followers of Christ we declare with confidence the words David recorded for us. "The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold." (Psalms 18:2)

We have this assurance that God is who He said He is. Furthermore, He will do what He said He will do. Time and time again we see in the Scriptures that this is true.

"Therefore, say to the Israelites: ‘I am the Lord , and I will bring you out from under the yoke of the Egyptians. I will free you from being slaves to them, and I will redeem you with an outstretched arm and with mighty acts of judgment." (Exodus 6:6) God did so.

"And everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved." (Acts 2:21) We have experienced this.

"This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us."

(1 John 5:14)

Let us live our lives with this confidence.

Blessings.

Mike and Daphne
