Good morning.
What would you ask for if you could have anything you wanted? It's been so cold, perhaps a gas heater would come in handy. Or perhaps free Petrol for the rest of your life.
We are reminded of 2 occasions in the Bible where this question was asked.
In response to Solomon's request, "God said to Solomon, “Since this is your heart’s desire and you have not asked for wealth, possessions or honor, nor for the death of your enemies, and since you have not asked for a long life but for wisdom and knowledge to govern my people over whom I have made you king, therefore wisdom and knowledge will be given you. And I will also give you wealth, possessions and honor, such as no king who was before you ever had and none after you will have.” (2 Chronicles 1:11-12)
The second acount concerns Elisha.
"When they had crossed, Elijah said to Elisha, “Tell me, what can I do for you before I am taken from you?” “Let me inherit a double portion of your spirit,” (2 Kings 2:9)
Shortly after Elijah was caught up to be with God, Elisha struck the Jordan with Elijah's cloak and passed over on dry ground. The company of the prophets from Jericho, who were watching, said, “The spirit of Elijah is resting on Elisha.” (2 Kings 2:15)
Elisha then went on to perform twice as many miracles as Elijah.
We can, at any time, come boldly before our Father and make our requests known to Him.
Blessings.
