Good morning.

Has anyone told you that you have a bright future ahead of you? In case no one has let me (Mike) tell you - you have a bright future ahead of you.

My friend Paul reminds us "if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!"

(2 Corinthians 5:17)

The past has come and gone and, for followers of Christ, the best is yet to come.

"See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland." (Isaiah 43:19)

In 1 Corinthians 2:9 Paul reminds us, “What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived” — the things God has prepared for those who love him"

Instead of focusing on the darkness that tries to consume us in hard seasons, we can acknowledge the promise in Jesus’ sacrifice. We have not yet experienced our best days.

We can face our future with confidence - God has it all planned.
