Good morning.


Over the past 3 days we have been stirred by by God through the messages brought at the NCMI Gauteng Equip 2022. Once again we have been reminded the part each follower of Christ has in taking the good news of the Gospel to unreached people groups of the world - those who have never heard of Jesus Christ.


We have had time to reflect on God's amazing grace which we received when We responded to Him. The refrain of the hymn penned by Isaac Watts says it all.

"At the cross, at the cross where

I first saw the light,

And the burden of my heart rolled away,

It was there by faith I received my sight,

And now I am happy all the day!"


This happiness is not determined by our circumstances. Paul put it this way. "I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. I can do all this through him who gives me strength.

(Philippians 4:12‭-‬13)


Our happiness comes from who we are in Christ and in what He has done and continues to do by daily pouring out His grace on us.


Let's make time to reflect on the goodness of God demonstrated by the salvation He brought us through His son, Jesus Christ.
