Good morning.

"The king was overjoyed and gave orders to lift Daniel out of the den. And when Daniel was lifted from the den, no wound was found on him, because he had trusted in his God." (Daniel 6:23)

The question begs asking: "How do people respond when they see God's hand on us?" Do they say we are lucky? Are they amazed?

Their response will largely be influenced by their knowledge (or lack thereof) of our relationship with God.

At all times - at home with our families, at work with our colleagues, at recreation with our friends - we as followers of Christ should live in such a way that it is evident that God is fundamental to us; that He takes first place in our lives.

When it is evident to those around us that God is preeminent in our lives, they too will respond as Darius did to Daniel's predicament.

They too will will acknowledge God's hand on us, “for he is the living God and he endures forever; his kingdom will not be destroyed, his dominion will never end. He rescues and he saves; he performs signs and wonders in the heavens and on the earth.” (Daniel 6:26‭-‬27)

Enjoy a blessed weekend.

Blessings.
