Good morning.

“Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord rises upon you." (Isaiah 60:1)

Disobedience is dangerous! As a child I, Mike, found this out the painful way, often feeling the consequences of disobedience.

In South Africa we have all experienced loadshedding and I'm yet to meet somebody who rejoices when they are hit with loadshedding.

As followers of Christ when we obey God’s Word, we experience victory and live as overcomers. It is like we are in the light. When we disobey Him, we experience defeat. It is as if we step out of the light and start stumbling around in the darkness.

That’s not a wise thing to do. We want to stay protected and on the victory side. We want to walk continually in God’s power and manifested presence by communing with Him in His Word and keeping His command of love.

"Anyone who loves their brother and sister lives in the light, and there is nothing in them to make them stumble." (1 John 2:10)

Let's turn the light on for someone living in darkness by bringing the Light of the world to them.
