Good morning.

Having just had some stern words pronouning 7 woes on the Teachers of the Law, Jesus utters theses words: "Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you who kill the prophets and stone those sent to you, how often I have longed to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, and you were not willing." (Matthew 23:37)

Like a parent disciplining his children, Jesus is overcome with frustration stemming from his immense love for these people.

We often think we know how to solve our own problems and live our lives, but sometimes we end up causing more harm to ourselves than we recognize by not letting Him help.

God is waiting with open arms for us to finally realize that He’s been trying to help us this whole time. He knows how best to help us, and He wants to.

Take a moment and rest in the deep love of Jesus. Don’t be afraid to run to Him, take refuge under His wing and allow Him to help you through.

Blessings.
