Good morning.
Over the years Daphne and I have been called upon to function in roles which we thought we were not equipped for. Surprisingly, we found that we had undeveloped skills.
When we resolve to live within the purpose that God has for us individually, we will be called upon to use our skills for the advancement of the Kingdom of God.
Throughout scripture we read of individuals who we skilled in different ways. In 1 Chronicles 22:15 we read: "You have many workers: stonecutters, masons and carpenters, as well as those skilled in every kind of work."
As followers of Christ we should be honing our skills. Spending time honing our skills will result in producing greater results. We are more likely to make an impact at work as well as in the Kingdom when we use our well honed skills.
As we develop and use our skills for serving Him, remember that "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters."
(Colossians 3:23)
Blessings.
Mike and Daphne
