Good morning.
Living to fulfill God's purpose for our lives requires careful thought and discipline. Proverbs 4:26 reminds us to "give careful thought to the paths for your feet and be steadfast in all your ways."
"All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy,
All play and no work makes Jack a mere toy." This English proverb reminds us to balance our work and social/family responsibility.
Likewise we are reminded, "As the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without deeds is dead." (James 2:26)
So how do we manage to live a balanced, purpose driven life? We learn to lean on Christ more and more. "For in him we live and move and have our being." (Acts 17:28) The Jesus who said "go and make ..." is the same Jesus who said, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." (Matthew 11:28)
In every situation take time to lean on Him.
Blessings.
