Good morning.
"Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken nor my covenant of peace be removed,’ says the Lord , who has compassion on you." (Isaiah 54:10)
What is it about God's love that draws us to Him and shows us how to love others?
• We are totally and completely accepted: "so that, having been justified by his grace, we might become heirs having the hope of eternal life." (Titus 3:7)
• We are unconditionly loved: we cannot make God stop loving us, because His love isn't based on what we do, but on who He is. (Isaiah 54:10)
• We are totally foregiven: Christ paid the price for our sin. "Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus." (Romans 8:1)
• We are extremely valuable: the value of something lies in two things - who the owner is and what someone is willing to pay for it. "You were bought at a price." (1 Corinthians 7:23)
When we remember that we are accepted, loved, forgiven, and valuable to God, we will be better equipped to love others.
Blessings.
Mike and Daphne
