Good morning.
Daphne and I have had the privilege of visiting many churches throughout the world.
One year we planned a trip to the UK specifically to visit churches where the presence of Holy Spirit was evident. We had the privilege of witnessing God moving in the Church of England, Baptist, Vineyard, Elim and non-denominational churches.
One thing that these churches had in common was Holy Spirit ushering in the presence of God. The Father heart of God was evident in all these churches.
People queued for over an hour waiting to get into the meetings. They came expecting God's presence in the meeting. It reminded us of what Jesus said in the sermon on the mount. "Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled." (Matthew 5:6)
In Acts 5:12-16 we read of the apostles performing many signs and wonders with people being healed. "Crowds gathered also from the towns around Jerusalem, bringing their sick and those tormented by impure spirits, and all of them were healed. (Acts 5:16)
Can this be what we should be experiencing when we meet together to worship our awesome God? God wants to pour out His Spirit in our meetings. "Your will be done, ln earth as it is on heaven."
When we meet together expect a miracle.
Blessings.
Mike and Daphne
