Good morning.

"The Lord replied, “My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.” (Exodus 33:14)

Reading this encounter between Moses and God (Exodus 33:12-19) there are a number of things we learn about the Lord's presence.

God's presence signifies:

• He will give us rest (v14)

• He is pleased with us (v16)

• He distinguishes His people from other people (v16)

• We found favour with Him (v12)

• He will answer our prayers (v17)

When we take time to read and meditate on God's Word we find the riches contained in it. When we read with the goal of applying the Word in our lives, it comes to life and we are reminded of the great care that God took in writing His Word sothat we will experience His presence with us.
