Good morning.
Our minds are a powerful instrument of the Spirit of God. Our minds are vitally important in our walk with God. Paul recognized this when he wrote, "Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will." (Romans 12:2)
Living within God's will does away with unnecessary stress and anxiety. It brings peace. Paul writing to the Thessalonian church says, "Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times and in every way."
(2 Thessalonians 3:16)
And here's the interesting thing. It would seem that peace in itself is not the goal. It is a weapon in God's hands. "And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:7)
As we allow ourselves to be led by Holy Spirit, we discover that living within God's will is not a lonely, dreary life. On the contrary, "the Sovereign Lord is my strength; he makes my feet like the feet of a deer, he enables me to tread on the heights." (Habakkuk 3:19)
And "being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus." (Philippians 1:6)
Let's live within His will by renewing our minds, today.
Blessings.
