Good morning.
Two days ago all the Star Wars fans had the opportunity to say "May the Fourth be with you." In the movie this saying "May the force be with you" was an expression of good luck.
There is an account in the Bible when the Fourth being with you was made very clear. "Then King Nebuchadnezzar leaped to his feet in amazement and asked his advisers, “Weren’t there three men that we tied up and threw into the fire?” They replied, “Certainly, Your Majesty.” He said, “Look! I see four men walking around in the fire, unbound and unharmed, and the fourth looks like a son of the gods.” (Daniel 3:24-25)
For followers of Christ this brings us the assurance that no matter what we are facing in life, God is with us. Unlike in Star Wars, this is not wishful thinking or a hope of good luck. We have this certainty "The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.” (Deuteronomy 31:8)
Christ in you, the hope of glory.
Have an amazing weekend.
Blessings.
