Good morning.
It has been said to connect with hearts, use your ears.
This is what Philip did when he met up with the Ethiopian eunuch on the road to Gaza from Jerusalem. At the eunuch's request Philip took the portion that the eunuch was reading (Isaiah 53: 7-8) and shared the good news of the gospel with him.
Paul writing to Timothy tells him that he should be ready at all times to preach the word. (2 Timothy 4:2)
It is good for us, as followers of Christ, to be ready to share the good news of the gospel when the opportunity arises. All it takes is for us to be sensitive to the prompting of Holy Spirit.
Philip responded to Holy Spirit and then used his ears to reach the eunuch's heart.
"The Spirit told Philip, “Go to that chariot and stay near it.” Then Philip ran up to the chariot and heard the man reading Isaiah the prophet. “Do you understand what you are reading?” Philip asked." (Acts 8:29-30)
If you are not already doing so, start making a habit of using your ears to reach the hearts of those you come in contact with.
Blessings.
Mike and Daphne
