Good morning.
Because of God's unending love and faithfulness, we can experience His peace.
Mind you, this peace was not without cost. "But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed." (Isaiah 53:5)
No matter what we may be going through, we are able to experience this peace that comes from Him. Jesus said: "“Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me." (John 14:1) "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid." (John 14:27)
While we nay feel anxious and perhaps even overwhelmed by the pressures and burdens of life, Peter reminds us of our Father's compassion and care and what we should do. "Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you." (1 Peter 5:7)
When we do this we will find that the promise He made through the prophet Isaiah still is true today. "You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you." (Isaiah 26:3)
Blessings.
