Good morning.
For most of us there are times when we feel like we are buckling under the load. The pressure that we face seems too much to bear. The encouragement we receive from our family and friends seems like mere words. "They don't know what I'm going through, what it's like!"
Let us remind you that there is one who is closer to you than you can imagine. He does not grow weary when you "unload" to Him. He is the one who said: "“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” (Matthew 11:28-30)
Also remember what Paul says. "The one who calls you is faithful, and he will do it.
(1 Thessalonians 5:24)
Our prayer is the same as Paul's: "I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people" (Ephesians 1:18)
Hang in there. Don't give up. The one who has called you is faithful.
Blessings.
Mike and Daphne
