Good morning.
The fear of rejection can be overwhelming. It often influences the decisions we make. Despite the (many) wrong decisions we make because of the fear of rejection, there is good news. God will never reject us. "Though my father and mother forsake me, the Lord will receive me. I remain confident of this: I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living." (Psalms 27:10, 13)
God is the God of second chances for us. He is a good and gracious Father.
Because God is always good and gracious, we can be bold and confident when we come to Him. We don’t have to come slinking in to God with our tail between our legs. We can just come and say, “God, you know I blew it - that’s who I am. But you are a good Father - that’s who you are. And it’s who you are that matters.”
"For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet he did not sin. Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need." (Hebrews 4:15-16)
No matter what we have done, we can come boldly to Him.
Have a good day.
Blessings.
