Good morning.

It is the Lord’s day. We have the opportunity to join together and worship our awesome God.

Notwithstanding that we can worship God at any time, any day of the week, the words of the song by Brian Doerksen are a reminder for each of us to worship Him today.

"Come, now is the time to worship

Come, now is the time to give your heart

Come, just as you are to worship

Come, just as you are before your God

Come"

As we come to worship God, remember that it is a celebration. A celebration of God being victorious and in control. The psalmist says, "Worship the Lord with gladness; come before him with joyful songs."  (Psalms 100:2)

So as we come to worship Him today, let us do so with a thankful heart. There is so much for which to be thankful.
