Do you ever think about what the future holds for you and your family? I (Mike) wonder what Mary, the future mother of Jesus, thought in the months, weeks, days leading up to the birth of her first son, the Saviour of the world. I wonder what was going through the mind of this young, pregnant teenage girl?

"Mary, did you know that your baby boy

Would one day walk on water?

Mary, did you know that your baby boy

Would save our sons and daughters?

Did you know that your baby boy

Has come to make you new?

This child that you delivered, will soon deliver you.

Mary, did you know that your baby boy

Will give sight to a blind man?

Mary, did you know that your baby boy

Will calm the storm with his hand?

Did you know that your baby boy

Has walked where angels trod?

When you kiss your little baby

You kiss the face of God.

Mary, did you know?

Mary, did you know?"

As much as this song is about Mary and Jesus, the sentiment expressed could equally apply to us and our future.

Will you, like Mary, believe God? Will you hang on to His promises to you?

Trust God with your future. "For no word from God will ever fail.”  (Luke 1:37)

Blessings.

Good morning. David writing in Psalm 43:5 asks, "Why, my soul, are you downcast? Why so disturbed within me?" He then gives us good advice, "Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise him, my Savior
